Attn: Test china showers at NAN 2014

The NAMHSA Board Of Directors has determined that some models were incorrectly disqualified from the OF China Breed Halter and Collectibility Divisions at NAN in 2014.

For reference, this is the rule that was stated in the 2014 NAN Packet:

Custom Glaze/One of Kind China:
China/porcelain/pottery models in a unique, glaze decoration must be shown in the Custom Glaze division, regardless of where the unique glaze was created. These include one-of-a-kind models created at the factories of Pour Horse, Horsing Around/Horse Gallery, etc. Custom colors, whether special ordered by a purchaser or offered on a sales list by the maker, must be shown in the Custom Glaze Division. The OF China classes are restricted to horses glazed in regular production colors and marked or certificated tests. Burden of proof for test colored models is on the entrant. Animal Artistry/Alchemy chinas and Horsing Around chinas in standard colors are shown in OF China/Resin.

The disqualified models were marked or certified tests that were showing in the OF China Divisions.

The NAMHSA BOD apologizes to the owners of these models. If you have a China test that you feel was incorrectly disqualified from its class(es) at NAN 2014 and you would like a refund of your entry fee(s) for that model, please contact Region 6 Rep Jackie Moore (region-6@namhsa.org) with the pertinent information (model name, class number and name, model's collectibility documentation).

There is always the possibility that the rules regarding China test models will be discussed and changed some time in the future, but the current rule that marked or certified test run China horses show in the OF China divisions will remain in force at this time.
