*OCTOBER 17*
--Bobbi Devine (RS) submitted the October 1-15. 2011 minutes report. These were approved today.

--The following poll closed:

POLL QUESTION: Should the Board appoint Jim West as NAN 2012 Registrar?
POLL ANSWER: Yes

--Carmen Robertson (TREAS) uploaded the September 2011 Treasurer's Report:

9/1/11 through 9/30/11

Total Income: $2800.00
Total Expenses: $1247.69

Balance in BoA Checking 9/30/11: $78,268.84
Balance in Paypal account 9/30/11: $135.91
Balance in NAMHSA accounts 9/30/11: $78,404.75

*OCTOBER 18*
--Silke Brockmoeller (PRES) requested Bobbi Devine (RS) to set up a poll for the purpose of voting for the NAN 2012 Chair. Poll was started.

*OCTOBER 21*
--The following poll closed:

POLL QUESTION: Please choose the 2012 NAN Chair.
POLL ANSWER: Carra McClelland/Stacy Faraci were voted in as co chairs

*OCTOBER 24*
--Silke Brockmoeller (PRES) posted that she would contact Jacquie Fernandez to advise her of the outcome of the vote for NAN 2012 chair.

*OCTOBER 26*
--Silke Brockmoeller (PRES) requested Teresa C (PR) to post a public announcement introducing the NAN 2012 Chairs and Registrar.

--Silke Brockmoeller (PRES) motioned that the Board discuss raising the NAN judges daily stipends. Tom Dean (R2) seconded the motion.

--Silke Brockmoeller (PRES) posted a short agenda to work on this week:

- discussion started for increase judge stipend, then vote ASAP
- start discussion for proxy showing for judges, since we voted yes, we now need to work on details and such
- start discussion on alternate or year round fundraising, as we voted no on the auction
- someone was going to draft a job description for Head Stewart position? We should figure this out too.....

*OCTOBER 31* --Discussion continues regarding the possibility of raising NAN judges daily stipends.
