REGIONAL REPORTS

Region 1- Erin Corbett
There were no shows in Region 1 in July, but a handful of us made it out to Kentucky for Breyerfest. I saw several Region 1 shirts throughout the weekend, and we made a great showing at Breyerfest Live on Friday!
We've had some great discussion on our regional list regarding the supplemental entry proposal, and it's my take that the region as a whole is not in favor of the idea. Many thanks to all that put their time and effort into very thoughtful posts on the subject.
Speaking of NAMHSA qualified shows, August will bring Cheryl Wood's Mid Valley Classic mini show on 8/22 in Albany, Oregon. I'll be there, as will much of the region! Cheryl has done a great job getting judges from out of the area, it's always fun to get a fresh set of eyes now and then.
September 19th will bring Rose City Live in Portland, held by Amy Elkins and Vicky Harms. I'll be at that show too of course, it's held at the same venue that hosted NAN this year. This is a yearly show for Amy & Vicky, and it gets better and better!
In October, Xavie Augenblick will be doing her show over in the Tri Cities, she has applied for NAMHSA membership. I know of several people that will be going, word has it that it'll be a fantastic show!
All in all, it's shaping up to be a great fall in Region 1.

Region 2- Thomas Dean
July was quiet in the Region with most recovering from the trip to NAN, and a few making the trek to Breyerfest. August features a pair of shows in the K.I.S.S performance series, Aug 1st in Porterville and Aug 29th in Mountain Vew. From discussion on our region list, the future looks bright for a new group of shows to start in the southern half of California.

Region 3- Teresa Buzzell
July was rather quiet here in Region 3 with only one show being held - Tucson Mountain Live, in Tucson by Pat McDonald. We did have a few people venture off to Breyerfest and all had a good time.

I will not be attending either of these shows physically as I will be in Region 4, judging and showing at Buccaneer Live Aug. 22-23. I hate to miss RDL 1 but I will have some horses proxy shown there for me. I'm actually looking forward to the drive out east too!

Region 5- Carmen Robertson
Welcome to the dog days of summer or should we say horse days of summer! Only one show for July in Region 5. July 31st was Celebrate Late Live in Oklahoma City, OK hosted by Neeva Jones and Jacklyn Catena. An all halter OF China/Resin, CM/AR and Lakeshore show. They had a small group of entrants but lots of competition. And as always, cake!
We did have that little thing called Breyerfest this month too. What beautiful weather it was too!! It was a great escape from the heat. From Breakables, to Equilocity, to Breyerfest and other points it was a great way to celebrate Breyerfest's 20th birthday. As always it great to see everyone! I look forward to next year with the World Equestrian Games gearing up it should be exciting to see what all will be going on. Only one show for August too. August 22nd is the Sunflower Live Show Series #2 All Mini Show in Rose Hill, KS hosted by Amy Jones. For Pebbles and Stablemate scale; halter and performance.

Region 6- Jackie Moore
Hello All!
There were no shows in Region 6 in July, as many of us made the trek to Breyerfest. I counted at least 9 Region 6ers in attendance at the Breakables show, and I know Region 6 was also well-represented at both the Breyer show and the Stone show (entrants, judges, and stewards alike!).
There are no upcoming shows in August, and HOTTS (Horses on the Table Show), originally scheduled for Sept 19, has been postponed. Which makes The Southern Model Horse Convention (Oct 3) the next show on the Region 6 calendar.

Region 7- Heather Jackson-Lain
July is always a busy month in region 7 as Breyerfest fever settles over the region. This year was not exception. We saw a host of activities from the Breyerfest Live show to Stone Equilocity show To the Breakables at Breyerfest Birthday Bash China show. All reports were that all three shows were very well attended and much fun was had. Region 7 was well represented at all three shows with some wonderful wins in both shows and contests. Breyerfest week brings folks from all over the country to the heart of region 7 for many fun filled and exciting days of Plastic Pony fun!!! It was great to see old friends and make a few new ones along the way.
August looks to be a quite month as we all try to recoup and regroup for another round of shows this fall. The next one beingaA Brand new live show that is shaping up to be very exciting - Cookeville Classic Live!
Hope to see you guys there!

Region 8- Marilou Mol
Hi, all!
Region 8 was very quiet in July, with many people heading for Breyerfest, but not much else going on as far as region shows. I saw lots of region 8-ers at Breyerfest and Equilocity, both of which I really enjoyed! For me, it was a dream-come-true to see Stacy Westfall and Whizards Baby Doll live, and as always, I greatly enjoyed spending time with friends and meeting new hobbyists.
I took part in the Breakables at Breyerfest Birthday Bash show, and seeing approximately 15 Sespe Violettes together on one judging table is a memory I won't forget soon! I also showed at Equilocity, and enjoyed that as I always do. The Stone Company held a fun Gala Dinner, complete with red carpet "stars." People seemed to have a really good time!
******
Region 9- Pat Coulter
Pretty durn quiet here in R9, as there were no horse shows this month!
Despite the recent news that CRAB has to be cancelled this year, we are gearing up for a great Fall season!!
******
Region 10- Valerie Parker
There were two shows in July in Region 10, Trumansburg All Halter Live, and Kids and Ponies. I didn't attend either show, but it looks like Kids and Ponies was well-attended with a nice-sized novice division. Region 10 was also well-represented at Breyerfest, with several Region 10'ers earning prize models at BF Live. August looks to be a busy month in Region 10, with Baystate Halter Live, Dutch Treat Live, and the Queen City Classic. There is also a workshop day scheduled August 29th. It looks like the fall showing season is shaping up quite nicely!
******
Region 11- Sandra Gibson
We had our second annual show, Chinook Winds live, which is a blast! It was a lot of fun to attend and was very nicely run. A family unit runs it ahd helps to judge it. I myself judged Artist Resins and it was a lot of fun. I'm always amazed that for a community as small as ours at how great the quality of entries are! It is very competitive in my part of the region. The show was a great amount of fun, with a birthday celebration of one of the girls our community has watched grow up.
Otherwise our region is heading into the quiet of fall and winter. There are rumors of a potential fall show but whether or not it is NAN qualified is up to the show host.
Overall it has been very nice.
