NAMHSA News for the period of May 16-31, 2009 based on the minutes recorded by Chris Wallbruch, Recording Secretary.

On May 16th, Lindsey Hall informed the Board that there were 159 entrants and 4198 horses registered for NAN 2009.

On May 17th, Lindsey Hall notified the Board that the new representatives and website manager had been invited to the Board listserv.

On May 21st, Pauline Entin posted the draft of the April 16-31, 2009 News. These were approved.

Also on May 21st, Chris Wallbruch posted the May 1-15, 2009 Minutes. These were approved.

Also on May 21st, Denise Schumacher informed the Board that she had received a NAN manual entry for which she had not received prior notice.

On May 26th, Lindsey Hall forwarded the Recording Secretary applications from three applicants.

On May 27th, Lindsey Hall announced that the 2008-2009 MSOTY winners had been chosen. The winners will be made public at the annual NAMHSA meeting on the Friday of NAN.

On May 30th, Susan Hurst posted the latest list of NAMHSA Merit Award winners.

Also on May 30th, Pauline Entin posted the May 1-15, 2009 News. These were approved.

On May 31st, Teresa Buzzell posted an update on the NAN Program.
