This now puts the application date within the 60 days. Gail asked for guidance. There was the singular Buzz and Wally Bonus Room Show with pretty models, great food and wagging tails! Rest assured, the tails in question were gated out of the show room, but they waited patiently for folks to come over and pet them ;) Coming up in January we have Ring in the New Year, hosted by Amy Peck and Factory Fanatics Live, hosted by Erin Corbett and myself. Hope that everyone has a little horsey something to brighten up our dreary winter days! ****** Region 2 (Tom Dean) Two shows to report for December, both held in San Martin: WACCO on Dec. 3rd, and Breed All About It on Dec. 4th. WACCO, hosted by Jane Morehouse, also included a Toy Drive and our "Ornament Exchange (featuring lots of "steals"). Breed All About It, hosted by Marie Sobieski, allowed us to bring out some of the halter models that haven't been shown in awhile. Both shows were well received by all in attendance. Next up, New Years Bash in Ridgecrest, Ca on Jan 22-23 ****** Region 3 (Pauline Entin) There were no member shows in Region 3 in December. I hope lots of people got model-horsey gifts for the holidays. Next up is CassAway Live on Jan 28th in Phoenix, for chinas and customs. We'll see how the spring show season shapes up in February and March. Stay warm everyone, Pauline ****** Region 4 (Carra McClelland) December saw warmer than usual temps for much of Region 4, but no shows. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! January is has this new show to look forward to: Milwaukee County 4-H Horse + Horseless Project in Oak Creek, WI. Contact: Charlene Ehlert. ****** Region 5 (Lyn Norbury) Although there were no shows to report in December, Midwinter's Night Ball held in Austin, TX. over the weekend (Jan. 7th-8th) proved once again to be a spectacular success, loved by all who attended. What a way to start a new year! Thanks to Shannon and Kim for hosting such a great show! Don't forget 28 Days After Christmas Show in OKC, OK in February. ****** Region 6 (Jackie Moore) Hello All! There were no shows in Region 6 in December. We'll be kicking off the New Year with MITS (Models In The Sunshine) on Jan 21 and 22 in Ocala, FL. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all the best in the New Year! See ya at the shows! :) ****** Region 7 (Stacy Faraci) December was quiet in Region 7 with the holidays. Spring looks to be bearing up with lots of talk of shows new and old! Hoping for a busy and fun New Year for all! Stay warm! ****** Region 8 (Marilou Mol) ****** Region 9 (Pat Coulter) No shows to report for December in Region 9. ****** Region 10 (Kate Cabot) Though there were no shows in Region 10 in December, we continue to look forward to the spring shows! ****** Region 11 (Terri Wright) December was a quiet month in Region 11, and while there were no shows to report, we get to look forward to a couple of shows in the New Year. Don't forget to check out "When Fur Flies" in Calgary, Alberta at the end of January, proceeds to the Local 4-H club and Rabbit hopping club! Best of luck, and welcome to the New Year! ****** Posted by Teresa Candelaria, NAMHSA Public Relations Representative 2/6/2012 | |
