From long time donor Susan Bensema Young comes this stunning large traditional scale red, black and white show bosal hackamore. The 5-part mecate is made from handtwisted thread and has a tooled leather popper. The tricolor bosal, attached with button-and-slit, has a silver heel cap and interweave braiding on the nose, sides and heel. The ring-style adjustable leather headstall has 4B, 13P and 4B 5P braided buttons and two tassels. The braided sinew slip-fashion throatlatch has a large tassle of white "horsehair" and a slider covered with rawhide braid. This piece fits the Stone Palouse, Thoroughbred and Walker as well as Breyer's Roxy and other models of similar size. (It does not fit the Cleveland Bay.) | ||||
