The Last American Mustang
Donehogawa ("he who guards the gate of sunset") stands watch over his mares as the sun sinks slowly in the west, hoping for one more day to run freely with his herd before the BLM closes in on their vanishing territory. Donehogawa is a stunning chestnut sabero (sabino plus frame overo) painstakingly painted by Claire Williams of Canterbury Studios and the original resin is Askewheteau sculpted by the talented Michelle Platt. This stallion of distinction was created with airbrushed and hand painted acrylics with further detailing done in colored pencil. His features include a rich sorrel base, detailed markings, individually ticked hairs, variegated mane and tail, and haunting blue eyes. Donehogawa would make a lovely addition to your collection and a poetic reminder of the value of freedom. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
