NAMHSA 15th Anniversary Party - Lot #49
Chestnut Jezebel
(click image to open larger view in a new tab)
This mini-scale piece was finished in a mixed media of pure pigments, metallics, acrylics and colored pencils. Her mane and tail have different colors intermixed, and her coat has many layers of subtle dapples. Her eyes and hooves are glossed, and she is coated with many layers of matte spray for a durable finish. She has many small details that don't show up in photos, and in this solid color the sculpture has an understated elegance. | ||||||||||
